The AO/AB Series vertical pumps from Pemo Pumps, supplied by Promimex, are at the core of PEMO’s product line, uniquely designed to handle highly abrasive slurries and acidic liquids.
Their standout feature is the side suction, which reduces the pressure on the mechanical seal to only the inlet fluid pressure. This significantly increases the seal’s lifespan and reliability, particularly in harsh environments.
For pumping acidic liquids, the shaft and mechanical seal housing can be made of special metal alloys to enhance chemical and mechanical resistance.
These pumps can handle solid particles up to 2 mm in diameter, making them suitable for industrial processes involving slurries with suspended solids.
With a flow range of 1 to 1500 m³/h (5 to 3,968 gpm) and a maximum head of 90 meters (295 feet) in the Hardalloy version, the AO/AB Series delivers dependable performance for critical applications.
